Ryanair Exits French Airport, Leaving Passengers to Morocco Stranded

Future passengers destined for Morocco from France are dissatisfied with Ryanair. At the origin of this anger, the disengagement of the Irish low-cost from the Marne platform, in Bussy-Lettrée (Marne), which does not offer any refund for trips after March 31.
The increase in the solidarity tax on airline tickets (TSBA) is forcing Ryanair to leave the Marne airport of Vatry, recently renamed XCR Airport, as of March 31. This disengagement of the Irish low-cost from the Marne platform is raising great questions among customers, especially those who had planned a trip to Morocco or Portugal departing from the Marne, and had booked tickets several months ago and whose flight is imminent. On the web, Jennifer Jacquet, who lives 50 minutes from the airport, in the south of the Marne, expresses her disappointment: "In ten days, we have to fly to Marrakech. It’s the first time my cousin and I are taking a plane. It’s a trip for my 40th birthday but it’s not looking good... We may be able to leave but not return to Vatry, because our return is scheduled for April 2. Will we be repatriated to another French airport? We don’t know, the company hasn’t given us any information."
When questioned on the matter, Ryanair tries to reassure the young woman; "On its chat, it told me that our flight is still maintained and that the information relayed by the media is incorrect. It’s not serious on their part, I’m very disappointed, because I would like them to refund my 450 euros."
Ryanair’s departure will certainly have a negative impact on the Marne platform, in Bussy-Lettrée (Marne), as the yellow and blue airline company alone represents 85% of the passenger activity of Vatry, reports
