Russian Foreign Minister’s Plane Makes Technical Stop in Morocco After G20 Meeting

The plane of the Russian Foreign Minister, Sergei Lavrov, landed on Friday on the tarmac of Casablanca airport.
It is not for an official visit that the 15-year-old Ilyushin plane, which is part of Russia’s special fleet, landed in Morocco on Friday, February 24. The presence of the aircraft of the Russian Minister of Foreign Affairs, Sergei Lavrov, on the tarmac of Casablanca airport is in fact explained by a simple technical stopover.
According to Russian diplomatic sources in Morocco, the plane operating flight RSD808 left Brazil after Sergei Lavrov’s participation in a G20 foreign ministers’ meeting, with Russia as its destination. After a technical stopover at Casablanca airport, which lasted three hours, the aircraft took off again at 1:30 pm.
