Russia Lifts Flight Restrictions to 52 Countries, Including Morocco, as COVID Cases Decline

Russia has decided to reopen its air links with 52 countries, including Morocco. These flights had been suspended due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
This resumption comes as the country is seeing an improvement in the epidemiological situation, says Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin, noting that "the incidence rate is declining, which means it is time to expand the available destinations for Russian airlines."
Thus, "as of Saturday, April 9, all restrictions on regular and low-cost flights between Russia and 52 countries will be lifted," says a statement from the Russian aviation regulator, Rosaviatsia.
In addition to Morocco, the Arab countries affected by this lifting of restrictions are Bahrain, Egypt, Iraq, Kuwait, Lebanon, Jordan, Syria, Saudi Arabia, Tunisia and Algeria, the same source points out.
