Royal Air Maroc Revives Tangier-London Flight Route After 14-Year Hiatus

14 years later, the national airline Royal Air Maroc has decided to resume its link between Tangier and London-Gatwick in June.
Royal Air Maroc (RAM) will connect, from June 24 to September 2, 2023, Tangier-Ibn Batouta Airport and London-Gatwick Airport, with two weekly flights, reports Air Journal. These flights will be operated on Boeing 737-800 aircraft capable of accommodating 12 passengers in Business class and 147 in Economy. The aircraft will take off on Mondays and Saturdays at 4:40 pm to land at 7:50 pm. As for the return flights, they will leave the UK at 8:50 pm to arrive at 11:55 pm. Air Arabia Maroc (at Gatwick) and Ryanair (at Stansted) are the only competitors of RAM on this route.
The Oneworld alliance company also offers flights to London-Gatwick from its base in Casablanca, in addition to those between this city and Heathrow Airport. These flights are part of its summer program described as "exceptional".
