Royal Air Maroc to Resume Guinea Flights Amid Airline Restructuring

The airline Royal Air Maroc (RAM) which decided to suspend its flights to and from Guinea at the beginning of the week could resume them on March 2.
Royal Air Maroc will resume its flights to and from Guinea starting March 2, reports Media Guinée. The suspension of flights was not related to the resurgence of the Ebola virus in the southern part of Guinea, the same source explains. It is rather due to a restructuring being carried out by the airline, like others (South African Airways, Kenya Airways) affected by the health crisis related to the coronavirus.
For now, the borders between the two countries remain open. Those wishing to travel can use other airlines to reach Conakry or Moroccan cities.
It should be recalled that at the height of the Ebola crisis in Guinea (2013-2015), the kingdom had maintained its flights to this West African country and kept its borders open.
