Royal Air Maroc to Resume Domestic Flights in Morocco Mid-June

The national airline, Royal Air Maroc (RAM), is preparing to reopen its domestic routes in mid-June.
In total, four domestic routes, Dakhla, Laâyoune, Agadir and Oujda will be reopened with 2 weekly flights. As for international flights, air traffic could gradually resume from July 2. According to the same source, 30% of RAM’s staff will have to return to their offices on Thursday, June 11. The others will continue to serve the company through telework due to health safety measures.
Facing the elected members of the House of Representatives on Monday, the Minister of Tourism, Handicrafts, Air Transport and Social Economy, Nadia Fettah Alaoui, hinted that her department is working on the development of a series of recommendations, in order to guarantee appropriate working conditions for air operations, protect passengers and users and finally ensure the protection of civil aviation safety and security. This is part of the work and the opening of the airspace.
