Royal Air Maroc Refutes Reports of Boeing 737 MAX Order Cancellation

Following the publication by Reuters suggesting the cancellation of the order for two Boeing 737 MAX aircraft, Royal Air Maroc has provided a formal denial.
"The order for the receipt of the two aircraft has never been cancelled." These are the words used by Hakim Challot, Director of External Communications at Royal Air Maroc (RAM), to Reuters, to put an end to the rumors of the cancellation of the order for two Boeing 737 MAX.
According to him, shortly after the second plane crash of the American giant, RAM had already taken delivery of the first two Boeing 737 MAX grounded with the global fleet in March.
The Director of External Communications added that two other 737 MAX aircraft are about to be delivered to the Moroccan airline company, which will take place in the fourth quarter of this year, according to Boeing.
A RAM source, who requested anonymity, told Reuters on Thursday, October 10 that the order for two additional aircraft, placed in June, had been "suspended".
