Royal Air Maroc Ranks Among World’s Safest Airlines in 2020 Study

Royal Air Maroc is one of the safest companies in the world in 2020, according to a study conducted by the specialized site "Airline Ratings". Unlike other companies in the MENA region, it has obtained the best rating in the field of safety.
In the detail of the ranking, the national carrier obtained the maximum rating of 7 stars in terms of safety, 3.5 stars for the product, and 6 stars concerning compliance with Covid-19 protection measures.
Since early December, Royal Air Maroc has been offering Covid-19 coverage on its international tickets. The first Maghreb airline to launch this coverage, its offer covers medical expenses related to Covid-19 and is valid for 31 days, from the first day of travel.
The specialized site "Airline Ratings", launched in June 2013, evaluates the safety and in-flight product of 385 airlines through its seven-star rating system. It takes into account several criteria such as the history of serious accidents and incidents of airlines, aircraft authority audits, government audits or the average fleet age.
