Royal Air Maroc Pilots Unite to Fight Job Threats, Create Legal Defense Fund

Faced with the threat hanging over their jobs, the pilots of Royal Air Maroc have reacted quickly. They have created a Collection Fund to take legal action.
Gathered within the Moroccan Association of Airline Pilots (AMPL), the pilots want to defend their interests. In a message addressed to its members, the AMPL has invited the pilots to get involved by depositing checks so that their cause can be defended in court, reports Hespress.
The amounts of the contributions vary according to the status of each member of the association. As for the captains, they will have to pay 10,000 DH per person. As for the line pilot officers, they are asked to pay 5,000 DH.
According to the AMPL office, the establishment of this Solidarity Fund aims to "preserve" the jobs of pilots and captains, their profession and the "sustainability" of their national company, namely Royal Air Maroc (RAM).
A few months ago, they had each contributed 3,000 dirhams to the Covid-19 Fund.
