Royal Air Maroc Offers Refunds Amid Summer Travel Surge

Royal Air Maroc (RAM), facing a strong influx during this resumption of flights to and from the Kingdom, is offering alternatives and benefits, including the refund of certain tickets, particularly those purchased before June 13.
Royal Air Maroc (RAM) reported a "record influx" on its various distribution channels and a saturation of flights on certain dates, while more than 70% of the capacity put in place for the period is still available for sale.
Faced with the situation, the company has invited travelers "to look for alternative dates if they cannot find seats on their initially planned dates". Moreover, it offers its customers the possibility to obtain a refund of the ticket amount purchased up to June 13.
This refund in the form of a credit to be used later on Royal Air Maroc flights, "is valid for 12 months and refundable in cash upon expiration of its validity or a change of travel date, without penalty," the same source specifies.
On the other hand, it is reported that customers who have a ticket with a free refund option can benefit from the reimbursement of the amount in cash as indicated in the fare conditions of the ticket. For customers who have already benefited from a free date change, and who wish to do so again, they will have the possibility to obtain a second free date change, "exceptionally," RAM notes, which also points out that the validity date can be extended until March 31, 2022 instead of the initially planned October 31, 2021.
