Royal Air Maroc Offers Discounted Fares for Moroccan Expats Amid Summer Travel Surge

Royal Air Maroc (RAM) provided clarifications on the facilities planned as part of the exceptional system set up in favor of Moroccans residing abroad (MREs). Following the instructions of King Mohammed VI, the national airline offers reduced and fixed rates to facilitate the return of MREs.
In a press release, the national airline indicated that following the implementation of an "exceptional" and "historic" system to facilitate the travel of Moroccans residing abroad (MREs) this summer, in application of the instructions of King Mohammed VI, "a record influx has been observed on the various distribution channels - website, Royal Air Maroc agencies and travel agencies".
"If the flights on certain dates have been completely saturated, more than 70% of the capacity put in place for the period is still available for sale. We therefore encourage customers to look for alternative dates if they cannot find seats on their initially planned dates," RAM recommends.
The airline also specifies that all tickets issued up to June 13 benefit from the following commercial conditions: a refund of the ticket amount in the form of a credit to be used later on Royal Air Maroc flights, valid for 12 months and refundable in cash upon expiration of its validity; a change of travel date, without penalty. Exceptionally, the validity period can be extended until March 31, 2022 instead of October 31, 2021 as initially planned (a tariff difference may be applied), the press release continues.
The possibility is offered to customers who have already benefited from a free date change to obtain a second free date change, exceptionally. As for customers with a ticket with a free refund option, they can benefit from the refund of the amount in cash as indicated in the tariff conditions of the ticket.
