Royal Air Maroc Loses Luggage of Quebec Tourists Returning from Egypt and Morocco

After returning to Canada via a flight of the airline Royal Air Maroc (RAM) after a trip to Egypt and Morocco, Quebec tourists find themselves without their suitcases. Some of them have since been located, in an unexpected place in Montreal.
They will long remember their return to Canada. About twenty travelers - precisely 25 - learn on January 7 that Royal Air Maroc (RAM) has lost track of their luggage. Their attempts to find their suitcases have been in vain. Neither the airline nor the Montreal airports know the exact location of the personal belongings of the group of Quebec tourists. Some travelers were reportedly told that the suitcases were still in Morocco. A different version of the facts was served to others. "I’m not thinking about the trip I took, I’m just thinking about getting the suitcase back! [...] one day they tell us one thing, the next day it’s something else. We have no information," fumes Line Vallerand, a traveler to TVA Nouvelles, deploring the lack of cooperation from RAM.
However, the hope of finding the suitcases was not lost. Thanks to Apple’s geolocation tool, the "Air Tag", one of a traveler’s suitcases was located in a liquidation center located at 13,385 Sherbrooke East, in Montreal, on Friday, January 26. "There were just, just suitcases! There were no sellers, there was nothing. The guy was all alone when he opened the door for us [...] We went in and when we saw suitcases labeled with the carrier’s "tag", we started rummaging through the suitcases," explains Michel Frigon, who traveled to the address given by Apple. He will specify that he found the suitcases of the majority of the group in the liquidation center.
