Royal Air Maroc (RAM) continues to implement its development plan aimed at opening air routes to several promising markets. As for the return flight, the plane will take off at 9:30 pm for an arrival in Casablanca at 11:50 pm (local time). On June 23, the national airline will inaugurate the air link between Casablanca and Manchester, England. Three weekly flights will be operated every Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday. The plane will leave Casablanca at 1:45 pm for an arrival in the English city at 5:20 pm (local time). The aircraft will take off from Manchester at 6:20 pm for an estimated arrival in Casablanca at 9:45 pm (local time). The same day, RAM will launch the Casablanca-Abuja line with three weekly frequencies (Tuesday, Friday and Sunday). The departure from Casablanca will be scheduled at 1:15 am for an arrival in Abuja at 6:10 am (local time). The plane will leave Abuja from 7:10 am for an arrival in Casablanca at 11:55 am (local time).
In a press release, Hamid Addou, CEO of Royal Air Maroc, will explain that: "The launch of these three new lines is part of our development plan aimed at opening air routes to several promising markets. It is also a matter of responding to strong demand in certain countries where a large Moroccan community is established." And to add: "The launch of these lines also aims to strengthen our continental positioning in favor of the African diaspora, particularly in Nigeria. Finally, the objective of opening these lines is to make air transport a lever for the promotion of the Moroccan tourist destination."
