Royal Air Maroc Halts Russia Flights Due to Insurance Ban

The Moroccan airline Royal Air Maroc (RAM) has decided to suspend all flights to and from Russia. Insurance problems are behind this suspension.
"The insurance company has just banned flights to Russia. All flights have been canceled," a Royal Air Maroc (RAM) spokesman told the Association of Russian Travel Agents. In response to European sanctions, Russia had decided to close its airspace to 36 countries, including the 27 European Union member states. Morocco is not affected by this measure.
The countries concerned are: Albania, Anguilla, Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, British Virgin Islands, Germany, Gibraltar, Hungary, Greece, Denmark, Canada, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Estonia, Finland, France, Jersey, Ireland, Iceland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden and United Kingdom.
