Royal Air Maroc Flight Evacuated After Suspected Engine Smoke on Casablanca-Paris Route

A suspected smoke in one of the engines of the Boeing 737 operating flight AT 750 between Casablanca and Paris-Orly is the reason for the emergency evacuation, says a statement from Royal Air Maroc.
After being informed, the captain, as a precautionary measure, applied the emergency evacuation procedure provided for this type of situation, in order to guarantee the safety of the passengers and crew of the aircraft, the same source specifies.
"The 171 passengers of the flight operated by a B737-800 aircraft were evacuated under good conditions and without incident," reassures RAM.
It still took more than 48 hours for an official reaction from the Moroccan airline company. Several videos and images posted on social media, particularly Twitter, showed the evacuation of the plane via slides.
