Royal Air Maroc Extends Ticket Validity After Umrah Suspension Due to Coronavirus

Royal Air Maroc (RAM) and other airlines have decided to extend the validity of travelers’ tickets after Saudi Arabia temporarily suspended the Umrah due to the coronavirus pandemic.
RAM and Emirates Airlines are extending the validity of travelers’ tickets by 12 months and 760 days respectively, without any other changes and without additional fees, reports Assabah. This decision follows the temporary suspension of the Umrah.
As for the issue of accommodating pilgrims, it remains unresolved. Negotiations are ongoing in Saudi Arabia for a solution to be found. This solution will have to take into account the interests of hoteliers and travel agencies providing services.
