Royal Air Maroc Expands Routes: New Flights Connect Laâyoune to Major Cities

The Moroccan airline Royal Air Maroc has just announced the launch of several flights starting June 11. They will be operated by an ATR-600 type aircraft.
Thus, RAM will launch six routes connecting Laâyoune to Agadir, Dakhla, Marrakech, Smara, Guelmim and Las Palmas thanks to a partnership agreement with the Laâyoune-Sakia El Hamra Regional Council.
These new routes are in addition to the 14 frequencies with Casablanca, 4 flights with Agadir, 4 with Dakhla and 3 frequencies with Las Palmas, in the Canary Islands, RAM said, speaking of an "offer proposed at fixed and affordable rates". In total, the city of Laâyoune will benefit from 7 lines with 38 weekly frequencies.
"Convinced that domestic air transport is a fundamental tool at the service of the opening up of territories, we are multiplying efforts with our partners to contribute effectively to the economic and social development of the regions," said the CEO of the company.
"Thus, the improvement of air connections to our southern provinces will undoubtedly contribute to the economic and social development of our regions by strengthening their economic attractiveness, enhancing their tourism potential and facilitating the travel of our citizens," added Abdelhamid Addou.
