Royal Air Maroc Drops to 55th in Global Airline Rankings, Maintains 4-Star Status

Royal Air Maroc (RAM) is once again ranked among the 100 best airlines in the world, but this time it has slipped two places.
Royal Air Maroc (RAM) is ranked 55th in the list of the 100 best airlines in the world, established by the international air transport rating agency Skytrax, which is two places lower than the previous ranking. At the African level, the national airline takes second place, behind Ethiopian Airlines (36th global rank) and ahead of South African Airways (69th global rank). Skytrax has awarded it the prestigious 4-star distinction for the 10th consecutive year. It has also won the title of "Best Regional Airline in Africa". Kenya Airways (77th global rank) and Rwanda Air (81st) complete the African top 5. The two other African airlines featured in the global top are: Air Mauritius (85th) and EgyptAir (88th).
Qatar Airways tops the ranking of the 100 best airlines in the world. The Qatari company, based in Doha, owes this position to its avant-garde on-board service offering great comfort, refined cuisine, the latest audio and video entertainment, award-winning service and a fleet of modern aircraft with an average age of 5 years. It is followed by Singapore Airlines known for the quality of its customer service and its on-board menus with gourmet meals created by a panel of internationally renowned chefs, state-of-the-art in-flight entertainment systems, and Emirates (United Arab Emirates) which operates modern, comfortable aircraft and culturally diverse employees.
To establish its annual ranking, Skytrax conducts an annual customer satisfaction survey. The survey was conducted among millions of passengers from a hundred different airlines. These passengers rated their airlines in a questionnaire concerning cabin service, comfort, meal quality and the efficiency of airport operations.
