Royal Air Maroc Denies Resuming Casablanca-Beijing Flights Amid COVID-19 Concerns

Contrary to rumors, Royal Air Maroc would not be ready to resume the Casablanca-Beijing line this Thursday, March 12, due to the Covid-19 epidemic.
The company denies any information that its line, suspended on January 31, 2020, would resume its usual frequency after the epidemic seems a little more under control in China. According to sources close to the company, cited by Médias24, RAM would not consider such a possibility. "The company will not reopen the Casablanca-Beijing line, at least not before the end of the coronavirus epidemic," it is specified.
This line, inaugurated in mid-January, was operated every Monday, Thursday and Saturday at 5:00 p.m. from Casablanca, to arrive the next day at 11:55 a.m. As for the return flights, they leave the Chinese capital on Tuesdays, Fridays and Sundays at 1:55 p.m. to land in Casablanca at 7:55 p.m.
In addition, China is not the only destination temporarily suspended due to the spread of the coronavirus. This Sunday, the Moroccan company has also temporarily suspended all its flights to Milan and Venice, two Italian cities in quarantine.
