Royal Air Maroc Cancels Italy Flights Due to Ground Staff Strike

The airline Royal Air Maroc (RAM) has decided to suspend several flights to and from Italy following a strike notice from the handling staff, relayed on July 15.
The news was relayed through their Twitter account, and concerns flights AT946, AT947, AT954 and AT955.
To mitigate the consequences of these cancellations, RAM has planned support measures for its customers. Passengers on flights scheduled for July 15 will be rebooked on the next flights serving the same destination on July 15, 16 and 17.
In addition, customers whose contact information is available in their booking file will be notified of their rebooked flight by email and SMS, and the airline also invites them to check and update their contact information via their website.
For those who have tickets on the canceled flights and do not wish to take the replacement flights, the airline offers two options. They can choose between a full refund of the ticket via the original payment method or a free change of travel date, depending on availability, to the same destination or another in RAM’s network in Italy. The latter must, however, take place within 15 days of the date of the canceled flight and the initial stay must be respected. The company specifies that if a change of destination is chosen, any tax differences will be borne by the passenger.
