Air Traffic Strike in France Forces Royal Air Maroc to Cancel Paris Flights

The national airline Royal Air Maroc (RAM) is forced to cancel its flights to and from Paris. The reason is a nationwide strike concerning all French air traffic control centers that will take place next week.
Following the notice of national strike concerning all French air traffic control centers filed by several representative trade unions of air traffic controllers for Monday, November 20, 2023, airlines are invited to reduce their flight schedules. In a press release published on its website, Royal Air Maroc (RAM) has decided to cancel flights to and from Paris Orly for November 20.
To minimize the impact of this situation, the national airline plans to transfer its customers to other flights. Affected passengers will receive confirmation of their new flight by email or SMS, the RAM press release states, inviting customers to check the status of their flight and update their contact information on the "manage my booking" section of the company’s website.
Royal Air Maroc also offers customers whose flights have been canceled and who do not wish to take the rescheduled flights, either a refund of their ticket or a change of date according to availability to and from the same destination or a destination on the RAM network in France, for a new travel date within 15 days following the date of the canceled flight, provided that the initial length of stay is maintained and this, free of charge. However, any difference in taxes due to the change of destination will be borne by the passenger.
