Royal Air Maroc Boosts Flights for World Bank, IMF Meetings in Marrakech

The national airline Royal Air Maroc (RAM) is mobilizing for the success of the annual meetings of the World Bank and the International Monetary Fund (IMF) scheduled from October 9 to 15, 2023 in Marrakech.

In order to support the organization of the 2023 annual meetings of the World Bank and the International Monetary Fund (IMF), Royal Air Maroc (RAM) has put in place "an exceptional device". In total, 18,000 seats including 10,000 additional seats are offered from the countries participating in this major event, reports Air Journal. In detail, RAM has made some 5,268 seats available to the US market. The company plans to operate three direct flights from Washington to Marrakech on October 4, 6 and 8, 2023. A first. In addition to the other flights via Casablanca covering the emitting countries in Europe, North America, Africa and the Middle East, it also plans to increase frequencies on the Paris-Marrakech (3 flights per day), Marrakech-Marseille (3 flights per week), Marrakech-Brussels (2 flights per week) lines.

RAM also offers special promotional pricing to event participants, in economy or business class. They can purchase airline tickets from the company’s agencies, for travel dates between September 25 and October 30, 2023. The purchase of tickets is subject to proof of their registration for the event. The company plans to strengthen ground operations thanks to the mobilization of its operational teams, in Morocco and abroad, to set up a special customer journey at the departure and arrival hubs in New York, Washington, Paris (Orly and Charles de Gaulle airports), Casablanca and Marrakech, as well as dedicated check-in counters. Not to mention the personalized baggage tags designed and the stickers to be affixed to the boarding passes.
