Royal Air Maroc Becomes First African Airline to Earn Prestigious Cargo iQ Certification

Royal Air Maroc has become the first African airline to receive the "Cargo iQ" certification, awarded to companies that comply with the standards required by the group for quality management.
This distinction testifies to the tangible progress made by the national company in the field of air freight, indicates a press release from the management, specifying that it was issued following a rigorous audit conducted by the certification body SGS over a period of three years.
The objective is to verify the compliance of the members’ operations based on an operational master plan (MOP) which is mainly focused on the standardization of processes and the improvement of transparency through the interfacing of data exchanges relating to shipments between stakeholders for accurate planning and proactive monitoring, the note points out.
In addition to this certification, RAM has also been awarded two additional stars to reward the carrier’s performance in the "Corporate Social Responsibility" and "Innovative Spirit" categories.
With this award, the company joins the list of major global air carriers, freight forwarders, ground handling agents, trucking companies and IT solution providers seeking to implement quality standards for the global air cargo industry.
