Royal Air Maroc and Transavia Boost Summer Flights to Tangier from Europe

The airline Royal Air Maroc (RAM) will operate more flights to Brussels-Zaventem and Amsterdam-Schiphol from Tangier this summer. In the same dynamic, the low-cost airline Transavia France will increase its frequencies between Paris and Tangier.

A clear increase in pace for the national airline Royal Air Maroc (RAM) this summer. From June 24 to September 3, it will operate a daily flight, from Tangier to Brussels-Zaventem, in a 737-800 that can accommodate 12 passengers in Business class and 147 in Economy, reports Aeroroutes cited by Air Journal. The departures will be scheduled at 7:40 a.m., 3:40 p.m. or 4:20 p.m. depending on the days. As for the return flights from Belgium, they will take place at 8:30 p.m. or 9:30 p.m. Until now, RAM served Tangier/Brussels-Zaventem once a week.

The national airline also plans to operate, from June 26 to August 34, three weekly flights (instead of one operated so far) between Tangier and Amsterdam-Schiphol. The departures from Tangier will be scheduled on Mondays, Thursdays and Saturdays at 7:10 a.m. (arrival at 11:10 a.m.) and the returns from the Netherlands at 12:10 p.m. (arrival at 2:20 p.m.).

For its part, Transavia will operate, from June 19 to September 11, 2023, an additional flight on Mondays between its base in Paris-Orly and Tangier-Ibn Battouta airport, in a Boeing 737-800 with 189 seats. Flights will then be operated every day except Saturday with departures ranging from 6:10 a.m. to 10:55 a.m. (arrivals between 8:00 a.m. and 12:45 p.m.). As for the return flights, they will leave Morocco between 8:45 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. (arrival between 12:25 p.m. and 5:10 p.m.).
