Royal Air Maroc accelerates long-haul expansion 2026

Royal Air Maroc is advancing the increase of its long-haul flight frequencies. Initially scheduled for summer 2027, these additional flights to Asia and the Americas will be operational from the winter season 2026-2027.

The carrier is accelerating its expansion schedule significantly. According to recent scheduling updates spotted by Aeroroutes, the strengthening of the international program is anticipated for the end of October 2026. This strategic decision cancels and replaces the initial projections that planned these additional rotations for the end of March of the following year.

This acceleration is first reflected in an intensification of connections to China and Canada. The route connecting Casablanca to Beijing Daxing airport will increase from three to four weekly departures aboard a Boeing 787-9 starting October 29. The route to Toronto Pearson will benefit from an identical evolution, with the introduction of a fourth weekly flight scheduled from October 26, operated by 787-8 and 787-9 aircraft.

South America is also benefiting from this dynamic revision of the schedule. The connection to São Paulo Guarulhos airport will see its frequency increase to reach five weekly flights starting October 28, compared to four currently. This anticipated deployment confirms the company’s desire to expand its overall offering well before the spring 2027 deadline.
