Riyad Mahrez’s Wife Confirms Moroccan Designer Created Family’s Anniversary Outfits

Taylor Ward, the wife of Algerian international Riyad Mahrez, confirmed that she wore a Moroccan caftan during the celebration of their third wedding anniversary on July 2, putting an end to the controversy raised by some Algerian media who had attributed an Algerian origin to the garment.
"I want to thank the talented Moroccan designer Salma Benomar for creating these beautiful outfits for my family and I. Thank you for making our celebration truly special and for your incredible efforts," Taylor clarified in a post on her Instagram account, accompanied by photos of her with her husband and their children in traditional Moroccan attire.
Some Algerian media had suggested that the caftan worn by the British model was Algerian, sparking a lively controversy on social media. Moroccan designer Salma Benomar, based in the United Arab Emirates, immediately denied this rumor by posting a video of Riyad and Taylor’s wedding on her brand’s Instagram account, highlighting the Moroccan caftan she had specially designed for the Algerian international’s wife.
