Rihanna Apologizes for Islamic Hadith Sample in Lingerie Show Music

Rihanna apologized to the Muslim community on Tuesday. She was accused of using a song that sampled a sacred Islamic hadith recitation during her 2020 Savage X Fenty fashion show last week.
Praised just before for the inclusiveness of her lingerie show, the artist Rihanna, now a creator, has, just after, been the subject of strong criticism from several Muslim fans, for disrespecting their religion.
During the show, models dressed in her colorful lingerie paraded on the catwalk and danced to "Doom", a 2017 EDM song by London producer Coucou Chloé. The remix is blamed for having been sexualized in the fashion show: "Using an Islamic hadith as a track in your show is disrespectful and disrespectful to all your Muslim fans around the world." "A mix of Quranic verses with a terrible song? The comments of outrage multiplied on the web, with an obligation to apologize.
An "honest but careless mistake (...) I don’t play with any kind of disrespect towards God or any religion and so the use of the song in our show was completely irresponsible! In the future, we will make sure that nothing like this happens again. Thank you for your forgiveness and understanding, Rih" the artist bowed on the official Savage X Fendy Instagram account.
