Rif Protest Leader Zefzafi Granted Temporary Prison Leave to Visit Ailing Father

Nasser Zefzafi, one of the leaders of the Rif Hirak, temporarily left the "Tangier 2" prison under high security escort. This outing allowed him to visit his father hospitalized in a private clinic in Al Hoceima.
Tarek Zefzafi, Nasser’s brother, announced on his Facebook account that his brother’s request for a visit had received a favorable response. He specified: "In a commendable initiative by the General Delegation for Prison Administration and Reintegration, my brother’s request to visit our father this morning was granted."
"The family welcomed and appreciated this gesture, which brought joy to our father and gave him a psychological boost to face the illness," he added.
In the same post, Tarek Zefzafi also renewed his call for "the release of Nasser Zefzafi and all his companions."
