New Regulations Limit Services and Pricing at Private Clinics in Finance Bill

As part of the 2020 Finance Bill Project, new measures have been taken against private clinics, aimed at restricting the range of services offered to the public.
In this regard, clinics will be required to respect the prevailing rates when invoicing medicines, by aligning with the public retail prices displayed in pharmacies.
This new provision, far from limiting the abuses of these health facilities, aims to reduce the hospital bill, pending an amendment that will prohibit the sale of medicines within clinics.
The lobby of private clinics has not remained inactive in the face of this new measure which risks reducing their profits. They are calling on elected officials in the hemicycle to oppose its adoption.
