Reality TV Star Ayem Nour Convicted in Morocco Amid Custody Battle with Ex-Husband

In an interview, businessman Vincent Miclet spoke about the return of his ex-wife Ayem Nour, the former reality TV star and columnist, and their 7-year-old son Ayvin, to France in September.
Vincent Miclet is angry with his ex-wife who returned to France with their son Ayvin after being stuck in Marrakech for months. Since their total separation, they have been fighting over the custody of the 7-year-old boy. "A dramatic rupture occurred, catapulting the case into a criminal judicial dimension. The kidnapping orchestrated by Ayem triggered a crossfire between France and Morocco. The Moroccan courts, which I had solicited, rendered a verdict convicting Ayem to a suspended prison sentence. The French court, on the other hand, had already issued an unfavorable decision against Ayem," denounces her ex-husband in an interview with the magazine Entrevue.
In May, a Moroccan court sentenced Ayem to 4 months in prison with probation for child abduction. She should also pay a substantial fine in Morocco. Otherwise, she will be placed in detention. According to Vincent Miclet’s lawyer, this sanction does not seem to impress the former reality TV star. She confirmed that her client had not heard from the boy since Ayem picked him up on November 14, 2022. "My client no longer knows what has become of his child since the end of 2022: he does not know where he lives, he does not know if he goes to school... he therefore did not know where he could come to pick up his son to go on vacation with him for All Saints’ or for any other vacation! [...]," she relates to the same media.
She will add: "The mother did not even have the presence of mind to have the child call his father so that there would be some semblance of contact, she limits her communication to obscure posts on social networks but is careful not to say where she is, in which city, at which address, etc." The ideal would be according to the lawyer that "the mother understands that this child has a father, and that beyond any legal consideration, depriving him of his father can only be extremely detrimental to him. The ideal would therefore be for her to return to normal behavior and/or for her previous situation to be restored," she estimates, assuring that Ayvin was happy in Morocco. "This child was happy in Morocco, he went to school every day and lacked nothing," she continued.
"Today, he is in nature and could not even go to class normally like all the children since the start of the school year. It is more than regrettable," the lawyer said. Vincent Miclet assures: "I generously offered Ayem the use of a sumptuous villa in Marrakech, a substantial monthly allowance and travel facilities, all to ensure the well-being of Ayvin, our common son." Between the summer of 2022 and the winter of 2023, his son was enrolled in the American school in Marrakech with Nour’s consent. She later considered the agreement void.
