The 31-year-old Moroccan player arrived in Madrid in January 2020, after a good season at Elche, where he scored 7 goals in the first half-season and 2 goals in 15 games in the second. Last season, he played 43 games in all competitions, scored 5 goals and provided 3 assists.
Currently, Yacine Qasmi is the Rayo Vallecano player who has spent the least time on the pitch. He has failed to gain the trust of the new coach, Andoni Iraola, who arrived last year.
