Franco-Moroccan Striker Yacine Qasmi Transfers to Leganés Seeking More Playing Time

The Franco-Moroccan striker Yacine Qasmi, who had been playing for Rayo Vallecano for two seasons, has joined Leganés. A transfer that may allow the player to be more solicited, he who has spent almost the entire season on the bench.
At 31, the former Moroccan international born in Pontoise, France, is closing the Vallecas chapter. With Rayo Vallecano, the striker has scored only 8 goals in 60 appearances. By joining Leganés for the rest of the season, Qasmi hopes to be given more playing time. For this season, he has had barely 3 minutes in a league match and almost an hour in another Copa del Rey match.
Before Rayo Vallecano and Leganés, the Moroccan player was at Getafe, Sporting, Sestao River, Compostela, Alcoyano, Mérida, Elche and Melilla. He underwent a medical examination on Friday and has already met his new coach. In a press release, the club indicated that he will be officially presented this week.
