Real Madrid’s Zidane Eyes Dortmund Stars Sancho and Hakimi for Transfer

Since his return to the "White House", Zinedine Zidane has been multiplying strategies to build a team up to his ambitions. After some important adjustments and a wave of recruitment of new players, the former World Cup and Ballon d’Or winner now has his sights set on two important players from the German club Borussia Dortmund.

Indeed, Zidane Zidane is betting heavily on Jadon Sancho, a young player who represents one of the most promising talents in world football at the moment. This 19-year-old Englishman, who arrived at Borussia Dortmund for 7 million euros, now has an estimated value of at least 80 million.

According to the German newspaper Bild, Real Madrid is interested in the English prodigy who, however, is under contract until June 2022 with Borussia Dortmund. After a first full season in Germany, with 12 goals and 18 assists in 39 games, Jadon Sancho could be led to leave Borussia Dortmund in the coming weeks.

For his part, the second player closely followed by Zidane, Achraf Hakimi, is just as interesting. From a backup at Real Madrid, the Moroccan international has become a "key player" for Borussia Dortmund. Loaned by the Merengues to the German club, he is now a cornerstone for Borussia’s coach, playing both as a right and left winger. Hakimi is a pure product of Real Madrid’s Youth Academy. He came to Dortmund under a loan agreement that expires in 2020.

The French coach has already sent a scout to closely monitor the performances of these two players.
