Media sources, including The Athletic, report that the Spanish Federation (RFEF) has registered Rachad Fettal’s name on the extended list of the Hopes team. A way for La Roja to show its interest in the Real Madrid Castilla gem who has already played for the Moroccan U20s. By doing so, Spain hopes to cut the ground from under the Moroccan federation, which has not yet called up the young striker to the senior team.
