Real Madrid Eyes World Cup Star Yassine Bounou as Potential Backup Goalkeeper

The good performances of Moroccan goalkeeper Yassine Bounou, 31, at the 2022 World Cup in Qatar, are seducing Real Madrid, who are showing interest in him.
Real Madrid is impressed by the performances of Yassine Bounou, alias Bono, at the club level but also at the international level and is considering recruiting him, reports Defensa Central, a media specialized in news about the Spanish club. The Merengues want to offer him a role as a backup to Belgian Thibaut Courtois, the undisputed starter in the position, that is to say a role as a substitute. For its part, Seville has increased its price on the transfer market. It demands the tidy sum of 30 million euros to let its goalkeeper go.
The Moroccan goalkeeper is one of the revelations of the ongoing World Cup. Considered one of the best goalkeepers in the world, he has so far conceded only one goal in five matches.
