Real Madrid to Don Arabic-Script Jerseys for Spanish Super Cup in Saudi Arabia

The Madrilenians could wear jerseys with Arabic characters to face Valencia on Wednesday, January 8, 2020, in the Spanish Super Cup in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
Just like Juventus last December, the Madrid stars will be dressed in special jerseys, as part of the Spanish Super Cup, against Valencia (relocated to Saudi Arabia for the occasion).
The information was published by the team’s playmaker, Karim Benzema, on his Facebook page, with a photo of his jersey stamped with his first name in Arabic characters. In the message accompanying the photo, the Madrid player expressed his regret at not being able to take part, and wished his teammates good luck. The Madrid player also signed the message with the Real Madrid hashtag in Arabic.
Victim of a left leg injury, the Whites’ striker will be absent from this confrontation. Deprived of his offensive trio Hazard-Bale-Benzema, Real Madrid will have to take the advantage over the Valencians to reach the final.
