Rapper Gims Praises Morocco’s COVID Response and Western Sahara Stance
Gims, a keen observer of Moroccan political news, has renewed his support for the kingdom and its Sahara. The French rapper, who now lives between Paris and Marrakech, also thanked King Mohammed VI for the strong measures taken to counter the coronavirus.
Invited to the 2M news for the promotion of his new album "Le Fléau", the great friend of Mohammed VI saluted the intervention operations of the Royal Armed Forces (FAR) in Guerguerat. He also congratulated the country after the recognition of its Sahara by the United States. "Morocco will remain in its Sahara, and the Sahara will remain in its Morocco until the end of time," he wished.
During his television appearance, the former leader of Sexion d’assaut praised the health authorities, especially King Mohamed VI for the management of the coronavirus crisis. "I don’t have the words. Love needs no arguments... I have met so many wonderful people in Morocco. I think of His Majesty King Mohammed VI and his extraordinary work in this period of health crisis. He preserves his country and his people. That’s why he is so loved. I take this opportunity to thank him. He is a wonderful person... I was lucky to meet him," he added.
The performer of "Sapés comme jamais" also declared his admiration for the sovereign for his instructions for the generalization of the free vaccination against the Covid-19 pandemic for the benefit of all Moroccans.
