Raja Players Offered $40,000 Bonus for Mohammed VI Cup Victory

Each Raja player will receive a bonus of 400,000 DH in case of victory in the final of the Mohammed VI Cup of Arab clubs, Saturday, on the pitch of the Moulay Abdellah Complex in Rabat. The financial value of the coveted trophy is 6 million dollars. A sum that will relieve the coffers of the club banned from recruitment by the Royal Moroccan Football Federation (FRMF) and FIFA due to the many debts already accumulated, reports the daily Al Ahdath Al Maghribia.

In an interview with the Saudi channel AL Arabia, the Secretary General of the Union of Arab Football Associations (UAFA), Raja Allah Selmi, said that the winning team will receive the sum of 6 million dollars, while the runner-up will pocket 2.5 million dollars.

Due to the coronavirus health crisis, the organizing committee has decided to apply the necessary prevention protocols. Thus there will be no spectators, nor extra time. Strict health measures will apply during the trophy presentation.
