Raja Casablanca Soccer Club Rescued by Sponsors Amid Financial Crisis

The sponsors of the Raja de Casablanca have increased their participation from 50% to 100%, to get the club out of an unprecedented financial crisis.
During a press conference held this Thursday in a hotel in Casablanca by the president of the RCA football club, the latter thanked the sponsors and patrons for their commitment and support during this very critical period, writes Aljarida24.
Thanks to the contribution of the sponsors, the club was able to attract subsidies worth $3 million this season, representing a 70% growth, said the club’s president Jawad Zyat.
"It’s easy to gain the trust of sponsors when the team is at its best and winning trophies, but more difficult when it’s in crisis, which is currently the case. We not only gained the trust of the sponsors, but our request to increase the subsidies from 50 to 100% was welcomed favorably," the president said.
Zyat took the opportunity to present the team’s new jersey, which the players will wear starting next Sunday, and which will feature the commercial brands of only 6 companies instead of 8 previously.
