Raja Casablanca Parts Ways with Sports Director Fathi Jamal After 18 Months

End of collaboration between Raja de Casablanca and its sporting director, Fathi Jamal. The announcement was made on Friday morning on the club’s official website. An important detail: the separation with the technician was by mutual agreement.
Fathi Jamal will have spent only a year and a half at the head of the technical management of Raja de Casablanca. According to the club, the now former sports director reached an agreement, following the latter’s request to withdraw.
The separation is therefore recorded, writes Le Matin, which specifies that he had been appointed in May 2018 at the head of the technical management of the club. But since his appointment, he has never been unanimous among the supporters.
His interventions in the choice of players to recruit are not to everyone’s liking. The last straw, according to the newspaper, is the recruitment of Muller Dinda.
The 60-year-old technician was also the general supervisor of the club’s training center and was responsible for thoroughly reviewing the work of the young players’ coaches.
