Moroccan Soccer Club Raja Casablanca Faces Allegations of Covering Up Sexual Assault

The Raja de Casablanca will not bring the case of sexual assault on a minor to the competent courts because of its reputation.
The former Technical Director, accused of being the author of these assaults on a young player, will not be prosecuted. The club prefers to stick to the dismissal of the accused, an internal sanction taken by mutual agreement.
Beyond this punishment, the Raja of Casablanca is not ready to prosecute the former National Technical Director (DTN), supports Le360.
According to the Raja spokesperson, Saïd Wahbi, an "internal investigation has been opened to elucidate all the ins and outs of this case". The club’s representative also specifies that "no written complaint has been filed with the club management".
The objective of this flexible decision, according to the spokesperson, is to "preserve the reputation of Raja and put an end to any suspicious behavior that could harm the image of the club".
To recall, the former Technical Director, fired last Wednesday, would be involved in a presumed scandal of sexual assault on a young player from the football school.
According to the same media, the young man, injured during a training session, would have been taken to the infirmary by the supervisor who proceeded to the assaults.
Trapped, the young man had no choice but to flee and confide in another of his supervisors, who reported the information to the club president.
