Queen Camilla Makes Private Visit to Marrakech Following Illness
Queen Camilla, wife of King Charles III, made a private visit to Marrakech a few days ago. Her arrival by private flight took place in the utmost discretion and under high protection.
This visit, which comes after a period of convalescence for the Queen following a bout of pneumonia, took place at the royal residence Jnane El Kébir, located in the Palmeraie district, reports the website Rue20.
Queen Camilla left Marrakech from the international airport, bound for England.
To recall, in 2019, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, Duke and Duchess of Sussex, made an official visit to Morocco at the request of the British government. This trip had taken place while Meghan Markle, who was pregnant at the time, had reduced her commitments abroad, traveling less often with Prince Harry.
