PSG Stars Given Suspended Ban for Offensive Chants After Marseille Victory

The LFP Disciplinary Commission looked into the case of the insulting chants against OM, sung by certain Paris players during the celebration of their victory, including Moroccan international Achraf Hakimi.
Thus, Randal Kolo Muani, Ousmane Dembélé, Achraf Hakimi and Layvin Kurzawa, the four players involved, escaped immediate sanction. However, the LFP has imposed a one-match suspension with probation on them.
Despite this incident, no sanction will be applied for the next PSG match against Strasbourg, scheduled for October 21. The supporters of the capital club can therefore expect to see their players on the pitch.
"Marseille ni*** ta mère", Achraf Hakimi, Ousmane Dembélé, Randal Kolo Muani and Layvin Kurzawa had chanted an insulting song to celebrate PSG’s victory over OM (4-0) in front of the Auteuil stand at the Parc des Princes on September 24.
A few days after the events, Achraf Hakimi and his teammates apologized profusely: "We sincerely regret words that we should not have said." "A week ago we were all celebrating our beautiful victory in the Classique at the Parc des Princes. After the match, we got carried away by the euphoria. We are well aware of the impact of our gestures and words towards the public, especially the youngest who dream in front of a football match. We sincerely regret words that we should not have said and wish to apologize."
