PSG Star Hakimi’s Wife Deletes Photos Amid Separation Rumors and Rape Investigation

Hiba Abouk, the wife of Achraf Hakimi, has deleted a good part of her photos with the latter on Instagram and could soon announce her separation from the Moroccan defender of Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) who is the subject of a rape investigation and was indicted on Friday.
The couple would have signed a separation agreement, well before the outbreak of the rape case on Monday. To date, Hiba Abouk has made no statement on the matter. On the other hand, she has deleted most of the photos of her with Hakimi on her Instagram account, leaving only a few images such as the cover of Vogue magazine for which they posed and other photos dating back about six months. Since October 2022, the couple had no longer posted any group photos. Their last public pose dates back to May 2022, during the 75th anniversary of the Cannes Film Festival, recalls Voxpopuli.
Achraf Hakimi, Hiba Abouk’s husband, was indicted for rape and placed under judicial supervision on Friday after his appearance on Thursday. The 24-year-old player was the subject of a rape investigation. A young woman the same age as him went to the police station on Sunday to report having been raped by him at his home in Boulogne-Billancourt, while his wife and two children were traveling in Dubai.
The news was revealed on Monday evening by the French newspaper Le Parisien, just a few hours before the launch of the FIFA The Best gala which Hakimi attended without his wife Hiba Abouk, which raised new suspicions of separation, after those mentioned at the beginning of the year. At the time, the 36-year-old actress had denied the rumor and reassured that all was well in her couple. This time, everything seems to indicate that the breakup is consummated and Hiba Abouk could officially announce it in the coming days.
According to some Spanish media, the age difference between Hakimi and his wife (24 and 36 years old) and the player’s lack of availability to spend time with his family would be at the root of their separation. For his part, Achraf Hakimi has always proclaimed his innocence through his lawyer, Fanny Colin, who stated that these accusations are "false". The Moroccan player also has the support of his club, Paris Saint-Germain, which says it trusts the justice system to clarify the facts.
