PSG Star Achraf Hakimi Under Investigation for Alleged Rape
The Paris Saint-Germain player, Achraf Hakimi, is currently at the center of an investigation for rape. According to information from the newspaper Le Parisien, a young woman went to the police station in Nogent-sur-Marne to report having been sexually assaulted by the Moroccan player.
Although the alleged victim did not wish to file a complaint, the public prosecutor’s office immediately seized the case due to the seriousness of the facts and the notoriety of the alleged perpetrator. The investigators are currently working on the case, which has been referred to the Nanterre public prosecutor’s office.
The facts would have taken place on January 16, when the young woman and Achraf Hakimi allegedly met on Instagram. According to the statements of the complainant, the player would then have invited her to come to his home in Boulogne-Billancourt on the night of February 25, and she would have arrived by Uber ordered by the PSG player.
At the player’s home, things would have quickly deteriorated, according to the young woman’s account. She would have claimed that the player had forcibly kissed her, lifted her clothes and kissed her despite her protests.
The young woman would finally have managed to free herself from her aggressor by pushing him away with her foot. She would then have sent a text message to a friend who came to pick her up.
Achraf Hakimi joined Paris Saint-Germain in July 2021, for a transfer fee of over 60 million euros. Since his arrival, he has become one of the most popular players in the club, thanks to his exceptional sporting performances on the field.
Paris Saint-Germain has so far refused to comment on the case.
