PSG Star Achraf Hakimi Sparks Romance Rumors with Supermodel Imaan Hammam

More than two years after his separation from the Spanish actress of Tunisian origin Hiba Abouk, has Achraf Hakimi found love with Imaan Hammam? The Moroccan right-back appeared in New York with the Dutch model of Moroccan-Egyptian origin, after contributing to PSG’s 4-0 victory over Real Madrid in the semi-finals of the FIFA Club World Cup, which was held in the United States. This has fueled rumors of a couple between the two celebrities.

It was not the first time Imaan’s name had appeared in the stadiums. Last May, she had been spotted at the Champions League final to support PSG against Inter Milan. Last February, the 28-year-old model and the PSG star had graced the cover of the famous Vogue magazine titled Headliners. The two celebrities also took the opportunity to interview each other.

"How did you start modeling?" asked Achraf. Imaan replied, "I was spotted at 13 in Amsterdam, where I grew up. It was a surreal experience, as I never imagined I could become a model. I had my first chance by walking for the Jean-Paul Gaultier Haute Couture show, but everything really changed when I did the opening for Givenchy at 16. That’s when I realized that modeling could become a real career for me."

Hammam in turn asked him when he realized he wanted to become a professional footballer. "I’ve always had a deep passion for football. My mother tried to initiate me to swimming, but my heart was turned towards football. From the moment I took a ball, I knew it was my dream. Since then, I have dedicated my life to pursuing this dream, and here I am now living it," the PSG star told him. The Dutch model of Moroccan origin then continued: "What is the best and worst aspect of being famous?" The Atlas Lion replied: "I think the worst is that I don’t have the intimacy I would like to have. The best is that I can communicate with a lot of people."
