PSG Signs French International Defender Sakina Karchaoui from Lyon

The Franco-Moroccan player Sakina Karchaoui has just joined Paris Saint-Germain. A member of the women’s team of Olympique Lyonnais (OL) since 2020, the 25-year-old French international has signed until 2024 with PSG.
Sakina Karchaoui thus joins Elisa De Almeida and Estelle Cascarino, aged 23 and 24 respectively, whose recruitment was made official on Friday by PSG. According to Eurosport, the arrival of the 25-year-old left-back will allow the reigning French champions to compensate for the announced departure of Perle Morroni to OL.
"It is with great ambition that I have decided to commit to PSG for the next 3 seasons. A new challenge in my career that I am eager to take on. Can’t wait to get back on the pitch and discover the crazy atmosphere in the stadium with the supporters," the player reacted on Twitter.
With Karchaoui (40 caps), under contract until June 30, 2024, PSG is attracting a new French international defender, but is losing its Spanish captain Irene Paredes recruited by the women’s team of FC Barcelona, and its Chilean goalkeeper Christiane Endler, recruited by Lyon.
