PSG Prospect Ayoub Yousfi, 17, Signs First Pro Contract with Angers

After a few months spent at Paris Saint-Germain, the attacking midfielder Ayoub Yousfi is preparing to sign this first contract where he hopes to follow his progression, reports Le Parisien. The 17-year-old left-hander and his entourage consider this club more suitable for his progression. "At PSG, I would have stayed with the under-19s since there is no reserve team. In Angers, there is a team in Nationale 2 and we liked the vision of the coaches and the club," says the young Moroccan.

By deciding to eliminate its reserve team in the spring of 2019, PSG continues to weigh on the choices made by the members of its training center. Ayoub Yousfi was one of the "talents" targeted by the Parisian management, who offered him a three-season contract, indicates the same source. For Sidi Makhfaoui, one of the advisors of the young talent, Angers will also play the Youth League (editor’s note: the Champions League for young people, pending UEFA’s official announcement). Since his family settled in Cergy Pontoise in January 2019, the Moroccan attacking midfielder has been followed by SCO while he was still playing in the city club. At PSG and under the orders of Stéphane Roche, coach of the U19s, Yousfi made about ten appearances in the championship, three in the Youth League or even a remarkable performance during the Parisian’s resounding victory in Lyon in the Gambardella Cup.

Already sponsored by Nike, the left-hander who defines himself as "rather technical and with a good game vision", intends to work on his physique and his speed.
