PSG's Hakimi Struggles Against Leao as Milan Triumphs in Champions League Clash

The much-anticipated clash between Paris Saint-Germain and AC Milan at San Siro was the scene of an intense duel on the right flank, where Achraf Hakimi had the heavy task of containing the tornado Rafael Leao. In this confrontation of the 4th round of the Champions League group F, PSG lost 2-1, a defeat where the performance of the Moroccan international was scrutinized in detail by the sports press.

Maxifoot gave Hakimi a score of 4.5, noting a mixed performance compared to his blistering start to the season. Leao posed huge problems for Hakimi, forcing him to focus more on a defensive role and thus limiting his usual impact in attack.

Sofoot, not without a touch of irony, also rated Hakimi 4.5/10, noting a simulation in his own penalty area, a risky maneuver that cost his team dearly.

Footmercato was a little more lenient, with a score of 5.5, acknowledging the challenges posed by Leao but also appreciating Hakimi’s understanding with Dembélé. Despite Leao’s repeated assaults, Hakimi showed perseverance in attack, without however managing to be decisive.

Eurosport evaluated Hakimi at 4.5, echoing the physical difficulties encountered against a Leao in great form. While Hakimi was able to be threatening on some runs, his overall performance was judged below his usual standard.

Paristeams was the most generous, with a score of 6, highlighting Hakimi’s sustained offensive presence which, despite his involvement, failed to reverse the course of the match.

Parisfans, with a score of 5, describes a mixed performance, interspersed with good ideas but also mistakes and defensive weaknesses, thus reflecting the ups and downs of Hakimi’s evening.

Finally, Franceinfos did not mince its words, with a harsh score of 2.5/10, considering that Hakimi was particularly in difficulty against a rampant Leao, and criticizes his attempt to play on the refereeing during Giroud’s goal.
