PSG’s Hakimi Delivers Mixed Performance in 3-1 Win Over Lille, Press Reviews Show

During the match between Lille and Paris Saint-Germain (PSG), which ended in a 3-1 victory for the Parisians, Achraf Hakimi once again showed his importance on the field. However, the sports press has provided nuanced analyses of the Moroccan international’s performance.
PSG consolidated its first place in the Ligue 1 standings with a third consecutive victory, but the match was not easy for Hakimi, who had moments of brilliance as well as some missteps.
Several media have highlighted Hakimi’s offensive contributions. Footmercato (rating: 6.5) emphasized his ability to combine effectively with Ousmane Dembélé, offering shooting opportunities to his teammate, and his tendency to propose offensive solutions with attempted crosses. This view is shared by Maxifoot (rating: 6.5), who noted that Hakimi was good defensively and active in his offensive forays, even if he remained discreet in the finishing zone.
Hommedumatch.fr (rating: 6) also praised the player for his offensive contribution, particularly for his runs on the right flank and his ability to double up effectively with his partners like Dembélé. They noted that although Hakimi was not often called upon defensively, he was able to take depth intelligently.
However, the press did not fail to point out some flaws in Hakimi’s performance. Parisfans (rating: 5.5) expressed reservations about his first half, indicating that he seemed sometimes in difficulty, particularly in the final gesture. The media noted that he was more cautious defensively than in other matches.
Culture PSG shared a similar analysis, indicating that Hakimi tried to occupy the right flank, but that precision and accuracy were lacking in the approach to the opposing goal. They also noted a disastrous clearance under Lille pressure, which almost cost a goal to PSG just before half-time.
Le Parisien (rating: 5.5) echoed this criticism by noting that although the connection with Dembélé continues to represent an offensive threat, Hakimi made a defensive mistake with a failed clearance that led to a dangerous opportunity for Lille.
